DASH Robots at Paine!

Paine is now a proud owner of 10 DASH robots. They were first introduced to Mrs. Selga's 4th grade class just before Winter break and will be getting around to all classrooms soon. Students ran a program of coding blocks to direct their robots through mazes and to follow commands along the way like changing color, spinning, or to say something. Students had a lot of fun and did such a great job. If a code block was set and it didn't quite get the robot where it needed to go, students had to adjust either the speed, angle or time to go the correct distance. Outstanding problem solving skills were demonstrated as students worked in groups of 2 or 3 to figure out the correct coding. Watch for more to come and look at more pictures in the Photo Gallery.
